This Looks Like A Story

I like to draw, paint, and sketch often, but one thing that helps me improve in Art is photography. Taking pictures helps me with learning angles and point of view, and I never take pictures with someone or something being directly in the center. Off centering a picture can make the picture (and the Art) more interesting than plainly putting it in the center. For example, in the picture above I took this photo of my grandmother walking down the alleyway to the beach. My mom asked why I didn't take the picture with her walking in the middle of the alleyway, so I explained to her how centering an object can make an Art piece boring. Taking a picture with an object off to the side (right or left) can make the picture look unique...like it's telling a story.
